Based on the videos and new reports from Boston, the Boston Fire and Police Departments should be commended for their planning and response. Bombing situations are designed to create chaos, but these two agencies appeared to work seamlessly to respond to the event, triage many injuries and some casualties  transport them to a variety of hospitals to give them the best chance of a recovery from their injuries. Simultaneously, the Boston Police began to cordon off the area and collect evidence to determine a cause and find the cowardis person(s) responsible for this terrible act. Their public information releases have been coordinated and have given the public the information needed. All of this is not luck, but a result of extensive planning and training. Hats off to the professionals of the Boston Fire and Police Departments.
